Jingdezhen Residency

In fall 2019 I was part of the Jingdezhen Residency in China. During this time I created portrait busts of my father as well as self portraits. I worked closely with professional mold-makers in their workshops. The mold-maker told me that he had been working for over 40 or 50 years with mold-making. Truly a master. I bowed to him deeply before I handed over the sculptures.
